Sometimes a focused renovation — new tile in the shower, an updated vanity, fresh fixtures, better lighting — transforms the room completely without touching everything.

Tile needs a properly prepared substrate or it will crack and fail within a few years. Shower valves need to be set at the right depth before the tile goes in. Waterproofing isn't optional.

How much does it cost to replace a garbage disposal?
A disposal replacement typically runs $180–$280 including the unit and installation. If the existing wiring and plumbing connections are in good shape, it's a one-hour job. If the disposal needs a dedicated circuit, that adds to the scope — but you'll know before work starts.
Why does my bathroom fan run but not move air?
The fan motor is working but the duct is blocked, kinked, or disconnected. Flexible duct sags over time and traps condensation at the low points, which restricts airflow to nearly zero. The fix is usually a duct replacement done at the same time as the fan — and the duct has to terminate outside, not in the attic.
How much does a toilet replacement cost in Seattle?
A standard toilet replacement runs $250–$400 including the fixture, wax ring, supply line, and haul-away of the old unit. If the flange is rusted or the subfloor is soft, that's additional work — and you'll know about it before the price is final.
